Anyone who pays attention must be aware that Ashval, (The DJ formally known as Veldren), is a St. Louis Blues fan and that I am a Ottawa Senators fan.

Well the two teams played each other last night. I didn't manage to catch more than 20 minutes of the 2nd period during which time the score was 1-1.

So I'm not sure when the Sens managed to score a second goal. I do know that one of our Rookies scored in the last minute of the third period to make the score 3-1 for the Sens.

So knowing as I do that Ashval runs special Gridbot contests when the Blues score I can only apologise for the Sens playing superior hockey and only allowing the Blues the 1 goal.

But then considering that the Sens were contending for the Stanley Cup last year I must congratulate the Blues on the quality of their effort last night.

No really the Blues may have lost. But they did good. All teasing aside.

For anyone interested in the Sens. http://senators.nhl.com/

And now back to the mundane.

The Blues played horrid last night. Of course, they're still missing half their regular lineup to injuries...so...there you go. :P

But yeah...it didn't make for a very good contest game for the listeners.

Sens & Blues.

Injuries are the suck for any sports team. Sorry to hear that the Blues are hurting. I wish I had that excuse because the Sens are bottom of their division and are having a really bad year.

Alfredson is still a good Capt and the coach is competent. It's the small market thing. You have a good year and next year you have to trade your best talent because they cost too much.

I actually predicted last year that the Sens would suck this year.

I've been a St. Louis Blues fan since back in 1991 when Shanahan first started playing for them. I haven't been keeping up as of late though.
