Ok... I may end up getting perma banned for this and ridiculed for being classed as a censor and tarryk may indeed end up knocking on my door at three in the morning to do something he will end up becoming an author on the NY best seller list, having written about this incident and what it means to social culture and the rights of media artists... while in prison. There is a track on the playlist... one of them, named 'Blue Milk'. In my opinion (as backward and unrefined, disrespectful as it may be) I ask that it be removed on the basis that it cannot be considered music if a cat walking across a synthesizer after hitting the record button manages to walk back and forth across the keys for 20 minutes. It is an amazing feat, and deserves respect to that merit... but a record deal it does not warrant. There is a difference between music and a child abusing a musical device. It is not art in the same sense that any mass produced generic icon being printed in copies, is considered art after Warhol did it.
Please remove this from the playlist.

Never heard of it. While I think what is or isn't music shouldn't come down to one person's opinion, I'll definitely have Tastyvixen have a look at the track. She oversees the GSP Playlist on her end. This is assuming, of course, that it was on the GSP Playlist and not a DJ's personal playlist.

It isn't on the Gridstream Playlist so one of the DJs must have the song.

ok I stand by Ivan's decision... there is a simple thing to do if a song comes on during a playlist, or even a live show. Basically you turn it off, ya hit mute, the stop button, essentially silence the stream... I say mute as this will allow you to see when the song is finished and you can tune back in if you so desire.
Edit: and btw my opinion of said cat is terrible... I'd put it up there with Radiohead's Creep...

As well you shouldn't.
We've found some tracks that were questionable in our GSP Playlist, but a DJ's personal playlist is their playground to include what they wish. I'm sure there are songs in mine that make some people's ears bleed.

And censorship is wrong. There is no true argument that is reasonable for what censorship stands for. I understand people have different tastes and all, but this is the real world, different tastes are what life is all about.

Agreed with one major notable exception... Racism, well not just racism but anything which encourages the hatred of any other group based on their appearance/religion etc. though that does lead into a certain debate which I really don't want to touch with mine or anybody elses barge pole for that matter...
