Yep, it's confirmed. EA is working, in companionship with Bioware, on an MMO-version of *drumroll* KOTOR.

Quite interesting to see how that'll turn out.

So basically Star Wars Galaxies with a choose-your-own-faction-through-carefully-selecting-annoying-dialog-every-other-half-minute MMO?

*starts coding up a Castlevania 2: Simons Quest MMO*

Good find though Mivet you posted this about 30 minutes before it made the digg.com frontpage.

*sigh* This means I guess, there will be no single player KoTOR 3 RPG. *double sigh*

The Force Unleashed better get here to the PC damn soon, I need my single player Force fix asap. Jedi outcast, Jedi Academy and KoTOR has been played too many damn times.

And KoTOR 2 I'm holding off playing again until Team Gizka release their community patch that restores the multiple endings and fix a lot of other story stuff that was left out.

KotoR MMO = win.

Bioware = win

Bioware + PC games = bug ridden unsupported failure.

I'm worried, and I love the storyline and artwork Bioware's done for their games, I just think they need to fire the entire management side of whatever dev team they're using and hire some people than can actually work without hiring developers that make their games completely uninstallable/unplayable for 20% or more of the playerbase (see PC Mass Effect via Demiurge Studios) or not updating to fix bugs even though fixes were announced as completed by dev team members weeks/months earlier (NWN1 for years, PC Mass Effect again). I really hope it works out and they either contract with a really nice dev studio or do a great job themselves. I also hope I'm gonna win the lotto without buying any tickets. :twisted:

It's the worse news for me.

Cause if that mean Kotor Online = no more Kotor 3 solo rpg game... that totaly sucks. :? A trilogy eh?

I was already not in a so great mood with the removed stuff in Kotor 2 and the no endings, but now that just make me totaly mad. :evil:

Sydney keep an eye on Team Gizka, http://www.team-gizka.org/index.html

They are getting very close now to the end of their project KoTOR II restoration project.

Restoring cut content where possible (that had original recorded dialog) lot's of script fixes, actual multiple endings. Yeah. ENDINGS. woot.

Yep I know there was this project, but I'm not sure it will work with my french version... in fact I'm pretty sure not. But thanks for the link.

Anyway even if it's great I was really hoping for a Kotor 3, and by Kotor 3 I mean the third part of the trilogy solo rpg, not a paid mmorpg "~based" on Kotor story. :roll: I don't care if that could have been about Revan or Mandalorians but at least something to finish the trilogy sorta...
