Well I was looking for some games for my grandkids to play, I came across Iwin.com and found a ton of game free for many unlimited and some just free trials but a great find to help them pass the time away. You may want to check it out some are quite interesting and can even play them at work , ummm no I did not say that.

How old are they? Another favorite for all ages, especially if you like the thought of a family-friendly (AND free) MMORPG, is http://www.puzzlepirates.com

It's basically a collection of various ways of playing tetris, bejewelled, and other popular web games, rolled into the theme of being on a pirate ship, where you can play the games to earn pieces of eight to spend on your wardrobe and house. :)

Other great places for free web games:

I was always a fan of flashflashrevolution.com. DDR for your fingers. ;)

Also good ones are Gunbound and Rakion, both by Softnyx. Gunbound's similar to Scorched Earth if you've played that and Rakion's more of a FPS 3rd person combat game with multiple people. I've wasted many months on both and you should too! You will need to download to play, but they're free after that.

"Experience extreme striking sensation!" <--Quote from the Rakion site.

Great Thanks all, it seems the youngsters get tired so easy of the same game so this is cool, my youngest is 7 and my oldest is 14 so the different types and levels of all games are great. THANKS again.

How could I forget that one? Tons of fun there. Although slight warning, some of the NPC phrases that they say out loud when you click on them can get PG. (like my favorite lines at the starter Hermit, "All my stuff is crap!" and "Y'know those guys in that next town over that all pretend they're in the renaissence? Yeah those guys suck." bwaha genius)

(only ao is listed as an mmo though).

The games might not be suited for younglings :)

They have quite a few free ones...

Rampage, Joust, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Bubble Bobble, Darkstalkers, Warlords Battlecry, Bloodrayne, <snicker> Daikatana, etc... Just to name a few...

(Though, I'm not putting these in the same realm as the Wing Commanders available to paying subscribers...)

Another decent free web-based click & wait game (esp for alt-tab gamers at a busy job) is BattleKnight. I'm really digging it so far, it's totally easy but has a lot of features. If you feel like joining, please use mah link to get me some free silverz. :)
