Interesting question, here. If you could only have ONE type of meal during lunch for the rest of your life, and it would always be the same, what would it be?

Personally, I'd go absolutely nucking futs if I had to eat the same dish every single day for the rest of my life, but if I had to choose, it'd probably be chicken salad.

That's tough. I get bored too easily. Also some days I'm starving by lunch time and others I'm barely hungry at all.

One of my favorite lunches is tuna salad. I think if I went with that and could only eat tuna every day for lunch I would have to be really specific about how it was prepared. I'm pretty picky about it as it is but I would be moreso if I was stuck with it.

Easy.

Chicken & Bacon sandwhich, with Curry.

Heh, I dislike food on the premesis that it takes time I could spend on doing something else. I like eating. I like eating a lot, but I hate making food more than anything and I don't care what I eat either. Just like doing it.

If we had a pill, and some water, and it gave me all the stuff I needed, I'd happilly just scoff them for the rest of my life... Wtb space age!

But untill then, you can never go wrong, with a chicken, bacon and curry sandwhich!

I think if I have to settle for one type of lunch it would be a Grilled Cheese with sliced tomatoes in it and of course I must have potato chips!

That would be my choice too. I'd add a glass of milk.

Curry rice bowl from Ruby's - the one with the chicken and the gingered sour cream. Mmmmm . . . I think I know my first stop when we get back to Seattle . . .

tough Question..... after about 2 - 3 months your favorite food in the world would make you nauseous just looking at it.

but I would say a sandwich I actually designed;

Start with a piece of toasted rye or Sourdough, apply some Dijon Mustard followed by layer of Roast beef, Cheddar, Pastrami, grilled onions, Honey ham, swiss, roast turkey, second slice of Toasted Rye or Sourdough.

serve with a pot of fresh coffee.

Fried Rice

Well, mine would be a glass of V-8 juice with a bowl of beef stew, and fruit salad. that would be my favorite. Only the stew couldn't be Dinty More or caned crap, nice hearty homemade stew .

Hmm.. tough one. I'd have ambrosia. Not the fruit ambrosia, but actual ambrosia. If eating food meant for the Greek gods didn't make me dead or insane, I'd be spoiled for the rest of my life. lol

Hmm... I think my choice would be french fries and fish sticks... Simple, somewhat cheap and I never get bored of it... :D

If I could only have one meal for lunch forever... I'd likely have grilled chicken and mashed potatoes.

ahh but would that mashed potato be nice fluffy mash? or that 'blenderised' rubbish that looks more like wallpaper paste that I used to get served and told was mash back when I was living in canadadia

Industriel style obviously! In soviet Canada, potatoes mash you!
