When I was a kid of about 13, one of my friends told me that he would sneeze whenever he looked at the sun. I laughed and told him that's not possible, because sneezing comes from dust in your nose that your body tries to get out, and has nothing to do with what you look at. He assured me that he sneezed when he looked at the sun, though, and tried to prove it, but I told him he was faking it or something.

Spend the next 20 years pretty sure that he had been faking it, and never really gave it another thought. Never talked about it to anyone else, because it's just never been brought up.

Til now. If I had Les's number, I'd call him and say he wins. My bad.

yep. sudden flashes of bright light (i.e. looking at the sun) have always caused me to sneeze. that is, when they're not causing migraines. doh

I'm boarderline. The only time looking at the sun will make me sneeze is if I have a sneeze that doesn't want to come along. Then, and only then will looking at a bright light or sun trigger the sneeze in me.

I had a college dorm mate that would start sneezing when he had eaten enough food to be full. He would sit down with 2 double Whoppers and an order of onion rings and once the last of the crumbs were gone he would start sneezing like a donkey with his nads tied together. He wasn't faking either because if you saw him, you'd know.

On a side note, this guy was the biggest slob and ended up getting his culinary degree. The carpet in his room was never visible because of the amount of dirty laundry on it. Anytime I needed beer money, I just raided his dirty jeans pockets. Thems were the days....damn, I miss it.

If I wanna sneeze all I have to do is look at the sun - It works 100%.
It's pretty strange if you ask me.
