The Black Friday Crazzies

Well you guessed it Tyg and I were among the rest of the nut cases out there got up at 3:30 am, we were not crazy enough to camp out side the stores last night but did get up quite early.

The first stop was the Royal Farm Store where they were giving free any sized coffee from 4am till 10 am. It was a chill in the air so the hot fresh coffee was a very much needed start, as we waited for the car to heat up on our way to the Wall Mart.

OMG what a mob scene when we got there, the parking lot was jammed already since the store opened at 4am and it was now quarter till 5, we headed straight to the electronics dept. So did everyone else apparently..

I wanted to get the 32in flat screen TV. When we got there there were none, but the nice sales person said go over to infants they have a 27in for the same price. It includes the DVD. We have a DVD but what the hell, for the price it was still an awesome buy ($429.00) . Wanted the digital camera complete with printer($119.00) they had plenty of them left. The portable CD players tho all sold out , special was ($49.99). Picked up Shrek 3 and Ratatouille special editions. Went to grab the Broom Vac and full size Vacuum. We past the Isle with the Crest Teeth whitening strips and paste and wash for only $25.00 . So I just had to grab one of those too.
I sort of lost Tyg at some point and just went about grabbing this and . Headed to the check out counter . I fig it would be a while in line and Tyg would find me soon enough. Bingo she found me when I was 3erd in line nice timing.
My basket and her cart could not hold any thing else. We paid and left . She placed everything in the van and I waited. Not wanting to give up my cart because we were going to go next store to Sams club. Sams was not nearly as crowded. I guess a lot of People still are not members .

We took a stroll through the electronics dept . Found a nice flat screen 15in TV that would fit well in the office Tyg works in . We couldn't pass it up, was on special for only $219.00 . With 4 females in the office now , there was a need to keep up with DR. Phill Opra and Judge Judy giggles.

I managed to grab up some nice Holiday food specials and some salty and some sweet treats. The van was now very full and it is 9:30 amand we are in need of Breakfast.

We head home to unload the van first tho . I hate leaving temptation in sight for those not willing to shop for them selves. We headed to the diner and had a great breakfast.

Decided to visit the other Wall-Mart since I did have to refill some prescriptions . We put in a request for them to fill 4 prescriptions. What the hell lets do a bit more shopping.

I went to the little girls dept. first because I just love shopping for my granddaughter. She loves clothes and prefers them to toys, Got some great deals there as well . Picked up a bit of Bling and sparkleys we just couldn't live with out . Headed back to the pharmacy dept, and than to the checkout.

Now checkout was nuts and you couldn't get out the door without having your receipt checked and stamped first. No one was very happy about that at all. I did not mind and let those in a hurry go in front of me, I doNOT like crowds and hate shopping in them , but when you save a lot of money doing it . I guess it has its rewards.

The bulk of it is over now and I can sit home and not worry about what I am getting for this one or that one I do not have to just settle for something that I really am not happy with. Most of what I need now. is Mail order. That is a breeze and I'll handle that this weekend. I am glad Christmas only comes once a year.

My mom was considering piling us all up in the car and heading for all night shopping. Some place was open at midnight, and then others open at four, figured we could hit one and then the other. All the Thanksgiving antics had us sprawled out on couches and curled up in corners, though.
