I don't know why im asking but what is the first MMO you ever played

runescape...quite enjoyed it back in the day.

Runescape was my first one also, I kinda gave it up after I lost all my crap 3 times in a row from freaking scammers

Briefly - Ultima Online

First MMO love - Asheron's Call

Gizmo MUD
first graphical though was EQ, was in a nice guild called Cookery and Spirits that did some nifty RP events and things.

Everquest....and I hated every second of it.

Asheron's Call for MMORPG. Before that I used to play VGA Planets 3.0 over bulletin boards, if an 11 player turn based conquer the universe game counts as Massively Multiplayer.

DAoC, played for almost 3 years

Earth and Beyond......man do I miss that game.

Meridian 59 was my first, the first 3d mmo

God I was so addicted to that game.

Runescape. And I played PristonTale until they closed the open beta

Bah... I don't remember the first perhaps remember after and edit my post... one I remember was "Might & Magic VII : For Blood and Honor" (1999)

but I'm sure I've played others older MMORPG game than this one before... I just don't remember what it was I've played so many games guys...

But my first online MMO was "Ultime Online" on a French server "Hyel Online" I've finish gm on it, after what the server was finished, but in my mind it stays for me a very cool game with a verry cool rp !

If you ask in another post "what is the first adventure PC game you have played" I could more easily respond "Zork Nemesis"! cause it was my first "windows" pc game

since AO, also played EvE (beta), EQ2 (beta), Archlord & Rising Force

First MMO I played was Ultima Online ..... because frankly.. thats all there was. lol There were MUDs but they are different. Left UO for greener pastures when they effectively ruined the game by splitting the world and creating "candy land" (No PvP world). Yeah, I've never been overly fond of PvP but the game had always been about it and it was just boring after that.

I flirted for years with various MMO's. I think that my 'cherry' was the Realm (MMO that can't make up it's tiny mind who owns it) tried the first lineage, poked around several others *smiles*.
My first serious go with a MMO was after I had gotten DSL and was in Beta for Lineage II. Left that one when it became impossible to leave town without dying 6 steps later without seeing who had just hit me *laughs* (that was about the beginning of Cronicle 3).

I played avatarMUD for many years and a cyberpunk MUSH for a few months (before realizing I hate MUSHes). That was during the dos and early windows 95 days.

First graphical MMO ever played was Anarchy Online.

other than Muds, my first MMO was DAOC (dark age of camelot).

AO was the first MMO that I played. I've tried several others since. But none of them are as good.
