Ugh...don't you learn that in like...1st grade? I'm not sure which is worse, that 56% of the audience said B...or that he agreed...

I just hope those 56% (except maybe one or two idiots) just did that to mess up the guy, and he fell for it.

I don't care how "nervous" you'd be on TV under time preassure, you don't get primal fact like that wrong, seriously ignorant knowledge there.

Go back, and look at the expression of the host when he asks, "Is that your final answer?" Its one of such discontent.

And how cisious are the people to all feed him such wrong information? Were they all just stupid too? Did they seriously think the SUN rotates around the earth? How, but for malice, could the sun win in votes over the moon?!?

I'm utterly asstonished. I might rotate myself into the sun.

400 hundred years ago ... his answer would have been correct as far as most people in authority were concerned, and at least one person was convicted of Heresy for disagreeing. Still *giggles* that was a bit of a shock to watch.

Actually there is no contemporary evidence to suggest they believed the earth was flat. Sort of an urban myth out of hand. Likewise with Columbus trying to discover an easy way to the far east...(Chaaa..like he didn't know American was there LOL!).
