Conrad Black.

Conrad Black has been convicted of Three counts of mail fraud and obstructing justice. He's looking at a posible 40 year sentence.

While it's the US Justice system thats taken Mr. Black to trial and found him guilty he's more infamous in Canada as a right wing Newspaper mogul who built a communications monopoly that made it nearly impossible to get any form of opinon critical of his political views published. Old guard, upper crust, I'm above the law type.

The timing of his particular folly has done him in as after the Enron and related scandals the rules for CEO behavior have become very strict and the Justice dept out for blood.

It's probably asking to much for this particular villian to be treated like any other criminal. He'll get a soft, country club, prison. Club Fed as a friend of mine calls it. What we need is Bubba's for hire to make prison the actual hell you want to avoid for white coller jackasses like this.

In a previous misadventure Conrad Black stole the final exams for his college and thus required that every student take them over thus ruining summer break for several thousand people. He was expelled for that but it's my understanding that he showed no remorse of guilt over his actions.

Conrad Black is of course appealing. It's expected that he has all the hope of a Salmon trying to leap over the Hoover Dam without using any possible fish aids that may be built into it. (Never seen it in person but in my many views of it in the movies I don't recall it being fish friendly.)
