Ok well I'm about as technically inept as possible. Which is causing me a bit of a problem.

I roleplay when I'm not doing RL or AO on a write in web based game based on the Star Fleet Battles version of the "Trek" Universe sorta kinda.
I was recently appointed to be the Commanding officer of the Klingon ship I play on. The former CO trashed the ships page when he left. Or there was some form of glitch in any case the effect is I need to rebuild the ships page but don't have the technical know how to imbed pictures, put titles and etc in Html.

This is rather annoying to me and I'm floundering about trying to figure out what to do about it.

What I want is this

Image Klingon Triskelle/Image Klingon K'Tanga class cruiser in orbit.

Title: IKV Vindicator (preferably in Klingon with the English translation under it. using the Klingon font) I'll look up the Translation for Vindicator in a bit.

Box for CO Message(Titled CO's Message) Box for XO's message(titled XO's message)

Box for GM's simulation summery(Titled GM's Sim Summery.)

Box for available positions (titled Available postions.)

Box for Message of the Day. (titled MOTD)

All of that is likely very easy to do except of course that I can compose it but not code it. That and I don't have a way to host the images I need either.

Under the heading of why you don't challenge Klingons to sing Karioke is this.

These songs brought to you in the original Klingon versions.

By the sound of those, Klingons never hit puberty?

Well those haven't but what type of Klingon do you expect to sing Karaoke anyways? Certainly not the Mature ones.

Ever notice how Germanic Klingon sounds?

Be a true commander and delegate!

That being said, all of what you're looking for is very easy and you should be able to pick up the basics from one of the 3 million HTML tutorials on the web.

Except that I really don't want to pick it up at all. I'm quite content to worry about learning to use programs without learning psuedo-programming languages. I gave up the whole geek thing of needing to do tasks by overly complex methodologies so that the uninitiated it might as well be magic a long time ago. In fact so long ago that it was before HTML.

Thus I refuse to learn HTML for much the same reason I refuse to learn Linux because seriously you don't gain prestege by making the instructions incomprehensible to normal people. All you do is make yourself into a Asshole.

And I don't deal well with Assholes.

Sorry if anyone reading this writes Linux manuals. But seriously try using intuiative file naming and a standardized format that can be understood without a university degree in Geek.
