So, back in 2002, I was a heavy Rubi-ka fellow. I was on nearly all day, and turned into Gridstream.

Things conspired that caused me to fall off the face of the Earth. A few years later, I got into a little game called World of Warcraft, and my time loving GSP caused me to seek out a radio station there. I found WCRadio, but this is not the place for such things.

WoW started to burn me out, and I decided that it was time for a break. Then, a friend of mine "clued me in" to a game called Anarchy Online, and told me that I could play it free until I decided to sign up for the expansions. So, I came back.

...and GSP is still around.

Kudos, GSP, for not only surviving this long, but for giving me the desire for GSP-type programming on nearly every game I've played online since my first foray into Rubi-Ka!

EDIT: So, holy crap. Danyoo and I have something in common. We're both practitioners of a rather unpopular martial art. How's that for my first night back???

Once I get these video issues sorted out, I'm going to be in Rubi-Ka more than Azeroth for the forseeable future.

...stupid client. I can run WoW fine. Why does THIS lag!?

Unfortanely AO was programmed for a very old (7 I think) version of direct X and so has many limitations based on the direct X version...and runs poorly when it shouldn't.

GSP will survive the test of time. :) I have no doubt that when the appropriate game arises, it will make a shift. ;) But until then? Rubi-Ka is the place to BE!

Welcome back.

You could have always listened to GSP while playing WoW  Best of both worlds

WCRadio satiates my radio fix when I play WoW.

When I left AO, I was literally off the 'net for a good while, long enough to have forgotten about nearly everything I did.
