I think it'd be a hoot to see an uncensored version if such a thing exists.
Mark Hamel does look alot older. But then he would...
As for poor. He owns a percentage of Star Wars. He's extreamly rich which is why he doesn't need to act anymore.

I've always liked the guy. He's remained really down to earth and humble for most of his life even through the insanity of "Omgzorz Luc Skiwaker!"
PS Yay Wing Commander.

You might not think that Mark Hamill has been acting or anything, but the guy is pretty active in entertainment still.
Most of what you see him doing now is voice acting. The guy has an incredible range. Do you remember the Batman: The Animated Series from the mid-late 90's? The character of the Joker was voiced by Mark Hamill.
Here's his IMDB list, it shows a list of all the work he's been involved with to date.

He might own a portion of Star Wars, however, George Lucas only gave Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill a total of ONE percent to split between them. That is .33% each. I know star wars has grossed ALOT of money over the years, but for simplicities sake, let's say its 10billion. .33% of 10billion is $33,333,333.33 To us, $33mil is alot. To big name, famous actors, its not. That's 1.5 movies for Will Smith.

Not sure where you got that but thats standard royalties agreement. Lucas was short on funds to make Star Wars and Mark Hamel signed a deal that gave him a percentage of the earnings in exchange for getting a salary much smaller than what the Star of a movie could expect to get. I don't know the exact details of the deal or what the percentage was. Probably something like 3% But 3% of billions is alot of money. In any case US tax laws being what they are about 90% would go to tax in any case. That still leaves him as the most down to earth rich bastard I know of.

It was from a newspaper article that was written before Alec Guinness passed away. Sir Alec received 1% for himself, and the other three shared 1%.
