Stalled.
Posted: Fri Apr 13, 2007 6:28 pmI did a web search on leets and ended up at the AO entry in the Wiki. The information on Leets was sparce to say the best...
But what really got my goat. was that reading through the entire wiki they admit that AO has constantly updating content and a new expansion yet call AO stalled citing that FC has it's attention focused on Age if Conan.
That kind of irked me because while it's true that AO has a slow update schedule compared to other Mmorpegs out there this is because of the nature of fc's programing team rather than because of a lack of interest in maintaining the game. Ehile no game improvement in the history of gaming has ever been 100% bug free AO updates seem to have not had any really major snags such as can effect the entire player base. AO bugs usually only effect a small minority.
This is what I call due dilligence not stalled. In this day and age programmers that take the time to debug before implimentation need to be looked up to as gods
That said I'll admit that AO isn't the #1 priority anymore. This is understandable. I'm truely looking forward to Age of Conan and will find a way to pay for a subscription somehow. (It's not cost it's actual how can I pay thats the problem. Local retailers won't stock FC products because they sell online direct. So no time cards. Grr. I don't trust 3rd party banking by internet and can't get a credit card.),
