Skateboarder gets pushed/ saved from serious injury!
Posted: Fri Mar 23, 2007 2:13 pmI am sure you all have beard by now about the kid breaking the law who was pushed by an officer into a shrub. It made me angry that it made the news, and I let it go. Now a few days later and it was on Good Morning America, I damn near choked on my coffee. Why the $input=0 is this such big news? Why is this little disrespectful vandal getting 15minutes of fame? How is it that the public that so often cries out 'what is this world coming to' is backing this punk kid? He was breaking the law... while in the presence of an officer none the less. I say the police officer needs a medal. I would have just thrown gravel in front of his board and be done with him once he came to a halt in his tumblings. Its obvious he was purposely pushed. It's also obvious he was committing a crime, and not wearing safety equipment either. He could have ended up seriously injured, had that happened while in the presence of the officer; my 5$'s is on the cop getting fired and sued for allowing a preventable injury to occur during a crime she failed to stop. The police officer acted righteously in my opinion, as startling as the video was, things could have turned out a lot worse for the kid had he fallen or had he fallen onto the officer resulting in his getting arrested with assaulting an officer with a weapon.
