If you walk out the front of the marriott, take a right, walk 1 block, make a left, walk 2 blocks, you will be looking straight at a liquor store :D:D. So yes, there is one close by .

Me totally for Dcon 2008, i'll have funds for it then.

What sucks most is that Dcon falls like a week before
my 18th birthday when i get access to all my cash that i can use on
Dcon and stuff which sucks royally.

Not too much for cosplay, but I wonder if FC would sue me if I were to weld and fabricate some metal together to look like omni-pol armor? If going for detail would probably be able to see it at '09 convention, if i can get there.

FC would more or less applaud you and ask for a set of the armor ...I can't wait to be there later this year!

They would definitely love it to no end. In fact, if it were good enough, they would probably ask you to make Sil (Game Director) a set lol.

At D*Con 06 they had an AO costume contest where the winner received free lifetime accounts to both AO full expanded AND AoC when it's released.

I expect similarly kickass prizes this year.

The question isn't should you make an AO costume, the question is if you can make one cool enough for FC to announce you the winner.
