A little update on my schools blocking policys

Over in the pictures forum i posted a screenshot where I saw that my school blocks http://www.anarchy-online.com. I also pointed out in a later post that many hate sites and anonymous surfing sites were still acessable. So I had to e-mail this noob and call him/her/it out on it. So i come into today and find that anonymous surfing sites were quitley blocked. I probally should have kept my mouth shut, but i just had to call this nub out. I was expecting an e-mail back from the admin thanking me for pointing out his mistakes, but did i get any....NO. I gotta find out who this douche bad is in our school and kick him in the nads.

All those systems work off META keywords and spiders. All a site has to do is not put in any META information and keep the site simple not to devoulge what it is to any spiders that may be coming by and it won't be blacklisted.

I did find one thing out. the guy/gal/thing that runs it is a HUGE racist because here is a selection, from a hate site, of META keywords that he/she/it finds completley acceptable and doesn't feel it needs to be blocked.

Just a poke here - your going to find that, sites like KKK, Nazi's, etc, may be allowed because they could be used for research purposes, such as the history of the KKK, or the secret lives of the Nazi's and their involvement into WW II...

Yeah, I had to access such sites for schoolwork-related purposes - I did a pretty major essay into the world of Scientology, for example, and another on that "the jews made the holocaust up" theory a lot of neonazis like so much. I don't agree with their views in the slightest, but being able to find information about it is important. Being able to debate AO bugs or check out the latest WoW pvp rankings, however, hardly has any academic merit.

Just do that from home instead.
