they never had any gay filtering on here before, but it looks like they just implimented it. I'm glad it didn't block gridstream.org or I would have to go fight someone.

Its probally just got a generic pack if they just installed it. So probally automatically has the more known game sites on it.
There are ways around that kind of blocking...erm I mean no there unstopable and you shouldn't be going to gamesites at school

theres some trick you do with a proxy server to get around it, but i woudlnt know where at all to begin.
since i see youre 25, thats pretty not nice of a college to do that to you.

Is this from your dorm (assuming you live at school) or just from actual school computers? One school I was at blocked *everything* that wasn't a webpage and some that was, I couldn't even check my mail... it was like that for about two weeks before the media teachers kicked the ass of the person responsible since they couldn't get at stuff they needed. Those were two very sucky weeks though.

Here at work I'm just prevented from accessing things like hotmail, most game sites, youtube, porn (well, so I assume... not like I've tried) etc... but at least I can access forums. Wish I could do more, since I don't have any internet access at home yet. Maybe next week.

Here is some more updates on how my school is being run by complete retards. I can't go to half the link on Digg (www.digg.com) but I can go to, i shit you not, www.resist.com (white supremacy website) and www.kkk.bz/ (KKK website). Complete and utter retards.

Same at my school but here its been 5 years since that, and they want to not allow students access to internet what so ever.

Yeah, we can get to a lot of sites at my school. GSP acts up for me at work, but school its good.

Kid in my English class on Monday tried to get into WoW while in class on his laptop and I guess they are blocking the port because it wouldn't allow him to log in. We were talking about gaming wiht a nongamer during class and so he was going to show said non gamer what WoW was
