Creativity.

Artists form communities so they can inspire each other. Thats a truth. I've been dabbling at writing song lyrics for a long time and never produced anything I ever liked. Thats also a truth.

Well exposure to all the talented people at GSP has caused me to work harder at writing a lyric than I've ever done before and...

I've produced a song I'm actually happy with. Well mostly happy with. But in any case I'm happy enough with it that I'm thinking of getting a couple of friends and trying to record it. Not for comercial sale and maybe not even for free download.

But I want to hear it and thats more than I can say for anything I've ever written before.

Now I can only hope not to become the +1 to Lykeios's terrible trio.

Shatner, Nimoy, and the Hoff + Fishi3 would not be amusing...

Arangement so far looks to be Keyboards, guitar and vocals.

I can't think of a way to add cowbell but if one dawns on me.... :)

Moo!

I just saw the band Inti-Illimani live, and they had some crazy cowbell grooves. Check them out if you want some inspiration.

Oh, and, contrary to popular belief, the government has not yet killed me. They just keep me too busy to post with their attempts.

Can we atleast hear it?! See the lyrics, something.. you can't just tease us like that and not deliver anything!

Hear it.

I'm at the pre-production phase. Haven't even asked the people I want to play on it yet. If and when I do record it I'll link to it here. Till I have it in the can so to speak it's going to remain a secret. Besides it's a folk song and not exactly something GSPiers usually listen to.

Fishi3, you shouldn't completely rule every GSPer out...I'm sure many of us, myself included, have very eclectic tastes and would love to hear it, especially with the influx of all the cookie cutter bands out there right now.
