What song always gets you moving no matter how many times you've heard it. Mine would have to be Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Negs, the song you mentioned is indeed called "In the Summertime". You pretty much had it right.
Keep an ear out, there is a cover of that song featureing Billy Idol and Slash floating around right now, it's definitly worth a listen. I'll get the name of the CD it's from when I get home.
as for me, Id have to say Skin of My Teeth, by Megadeth always gets me going.
Edit: The CD I was thinking of was called. Blood of the Snake, by Derek Sherinian. Track 10, "In The Summertime" Feat. Billy Idol and Slash. good stuff

There's many songs of many genres that ~might~ make me move... usually deoending more on how much I feel like dancing than on the dsong itself.
One that's always worth a mention though, is Chameleon - Swamp Thing...
When I first started working goth bars as well as just getting drunk there, one of my first behind-the-bar friends was a girl called "Spider". She was an amazing, natural dancer. Up until that point I could only dance when at least semi-drunk and losing my inhibitions... if I tried to dance sober I'd get self conscious and clam up. But she helped me get over that... cos we used to head to the dancefloor together, on out breaks, sober. And she was such an amazing dancer that I realised that even if I practiced for a million years I'd never dance like her - which was a huge whoosh of freedon for me - it meant I could stop trying to dance great and just enjoy. And ever since, drunk and soberm I've been able to think of that and jump on the dancefloor and enjoy making an idiot of myself.
She moved away long since and has become an occasionaly email friend - but Swamp thing is the thing I always associate with her and always makes me feel like dancing... Even if there's other things that make me bounce dar longer and higher any day of the week, this one wins hands down on history...

I work out to tracks 1 through 4 of the Run Lola Run soundtrack. Ironicly? I'm mock running.

It's a cross between a ski-machine and a run machine. ^_^ Closer to running than anything, but not really running.
Also, the flow of Tarryk Dome that's gotten out is a little scary.

I'm used to looking at Avatars and going, "Oh, this is So-&-So!" So seeing all the T-man heads floating about makes me feel like we're under some kinda Tarryk Clone threat! Clone Armies of facial destruction!
Edit; Track Three, "Running One" is super sexy for my pace. I always seem to catch my stride durring that song. And suddenly I'm unstoppable.

Hehe, yah, it's confusing me to. I keep seeing my own posts and going "Hang on, didn't I write this?... Oh, wait... It is me..."
Oh the things we do in the name of comedy... ^^
Still, back we go...

Not really what one might call "dancey" but it works for me... Bauhaus - The Dog's a Vapour and/or Zilch - Inside the Pervert Mound
Ah hell with it - the entire Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack...
