Hi,

I'm new to AnarchyOnline and coming from games like GuildWars, EVE, and WoW I'm rather excited by the social possibilities in AO. This question started at ao-universe where it was suggested that I ask GSP. So here it is:

Which of the two (english) servers has a larger party community, and is overall more "party friendly"?

Both Servers have large party crowds depending on the time of day, would be hard pressed to pick which has the higher number of party folk! Both servers are also very party friendly. There are quite a number of folks that have a "main" charzcter on their home server, and a "social or party" on the other server - When they want to party they tune to GSP, locate party, and head to the appropriate Dimension and venue.

There does tend to be slightly more GSP parties and events on RK1 as that is where the org was born and most of us live, though many many DJ's play shows regularly on both dimensions and also on the test live server!

As for party venues, The most popular is probably reets retreat n Stret West bank - the largest club on the planet with many different bars/rooms. But we also do shows in the steets, in other clubs, on the shores of lakes/streams, in player owned cities.. Almost anywhere!

Exactly what Dyna said. Most of us have social chars on every server (including Test).

What I would suggest is pick which ever server you want to play on with your main, then just make chars with the same name on the other servers. Most parties are made to be accessable for all of our level 1 social chars, so it shouldn't be too hard.

A year ago I would have said keep your main on RK1, since most shows are done there, but recently the load has been pretty evenly balanced between RK1 and RK2, so there really is no bad choice. Also every 3rd Sunday (i think?) they do the whole day from the Test server, where you can win "Bug Points" to "level" your chars.
