I know I'm not the biggest techie in the world but...

I know at least something...

A little bit ago my mom asked for help with her computer. I sit down and she gives me her password, which I type in and then hit enter.

She says, "what did you hit to get it to go like that?"

I said, "uh...enter." Followed by giggling.

She says, "Oh come on. You know I don't know too much about these things".

*face palms*

They've had their computer probably 3 years and my mom never realized that you can just hit enter instead of clicking the button with the mouse. This goes a long way to explaining why I still to this day have to help her whenever she needs to copy and paste.

So anyone else (not currently working in tech support, because that goes without saying) who is faced with the technology challenged?

My mother still had problems until recently with advanced stuff like copy-pasting and moving files, despite having a computer for over 6 years.
