...Which was haxxored by the blood elves (Angsty high elves who joined the horde for orc and tauren wang) which caused them to crash on Azeroth.


Sadly, I'm not making this up. Except the reality is they came on an interdimensional castle. And the funny thing is the current concept of them totally wrecks what was written for Warcraft three. Instead of the Eredar (Whom the draenei descend from) corrupting Sargeras, evidently he corrupts them.

Basically, imagine Tolkien writing that Melkor made the orcs in the Silmarillion, then have it say in the LOTR trilogy that the orcs were already evil to begin with and corrupted Melkor. That's kind of what it's like, though it's reverse in order.

The problem is, I don't know anyone who plays WoW, and playing alone sucks... But it's PvP aspect kicks AO's arse... It just doesn't have the social interaction... But I want the PvP dammit... AO simply can't compare in that aspect... Tho it wins in most others...

Well, maybe Funcom's Age of Conan will contain both the social interaction of AO (Dubious to assume right now) as well as better PVP than even WOW

i really like the cinematic intro ... i think that is what got me The night elf running through the woods with the instamorph, and the Human mage fighting the Demons from the tower.

For me it was the prospect of proper PvP... And gnomes... EQ sucks by all standards, but I did miss the rather specialized game style and finesse that had to be mastered to even hit lvl 20... I rather like the whole "Punish the newb with death" approach, as it meant there were no "Omg wot is attack buttn?!" people at end game... That was, untill E-bay came along...

Wow isn't exactly the same, but I still find it easier to sort the crap from the cream, than it is with AO...

And I just like the whole Mana, and spells bit... Oh well...

Still... I quit WoW, and I'm back on-world in AO... Should be daily from some time next week too! ^^
