Event Participation

Hey been away from AO for a while, just back and see this new thing on the account page regarding Event Participation. I am seriously interested but was hoping to get some feedback from anyone that may have signed up for this and been a part of something.. Anyone..??

I think that has to due with participating in story line events. And it's basicly saying you can't get mad at funcom if you happen to die in that event and you lose all your XP or something. Not totally sure though. Anyone else that can clarify this?

To be quite honest and blunt with you it's a sham. They will kill you whether you are signed up for it or not. And if you are signed up, its no guarentee you will even get contacted or anything ever happening to you. There have been countless people who've signed up and never get a chance ... its always the same 10 or so people ... coincidence??


Eitherway, might as well check it off and who knows you may hit the lottery. But best bet don't count on the ARK's or Funcom to do anything at all with you, you'll need to get out and meet other people. 99% of any RP worth doing now adays is player generated, the Events Commitee and Funcom have failed royally. Who knows though, maybe thing can turn for the better, but i'm not holding my breath.

They killed me once in rome, omni-pol was looking for someone and I kiting unicorns around killing them.. Then 4 omni-pol soldiers shot me Fun times
