Yes, this did happen to me and it is not a re-post.

Okay, I get this friend request from: Kasey Lourena, A Playboy model (I really have no idea who this is, the design of the page just....gave me a clue.) - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... D=28305292 (clean link, no nudity)
This is the message I send this person:
Subject: ya, right...
Okay, I really don't think this is for real, so please don't spam me with any offers to playboy websites. If you are for real, then I'm sorry, I am REALLY not your type of guy hahaha.

Then I deny her friend request and go about my day. Two minutes later I get this "well thought out" response to my message:
Subject: whatever you say...
I really dont care if you think its real...it is so oyu get go get LAID...okay? yeah okay...so see ya...o yeha your lose...

- Kasey Lourena

This is what I had to say back:
Subject: RE: whatever you say...
Get laid.....by a playboy model.....excuse me while I laugh...BBWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
You just made my day :D.

And yet, another well thought out respond to my message:
Subject: Allright hunn here's the thing...
Allright hunn...you can laugh all you want but im the one with the money...okay? Okay now stop messaging me you freak...

-Kasey Lourena

Right after that one I just clicked on the little "Flag spam/abuse. [ ? ]" link and began to write this post. This is something that happens to me like once of twice a week. Someone pretending to be someone else and making a profile, then trying to get 1000's of friends. I hope to god that it really isn't Kasey Lourena and that her grammar skills are better then that master piece above.

hahaha, I'll see what I can do ;). But I think if you send her...him...them...it a friend request, then I'm sure they will add you. All they are look'n to do is probably get a 1000 or so friends and start spaming people with bulletins on why they should join their porn site or whatever.

And some wonder why I hate myspace :P

Anyways, there is NO WAY that is real. And anyone else find it funny that the only person to comment is one really lonely looking dude?

Hm. The Internet Police have really been banging on MySpace lately. Kim Commando (or however you spell her name) called them out as being practical Kid pRon because so many teens blog there. Here's a blog, there's a blog, everywhere a blog blog.

Personally, I get a bad vibe from shiznit on things like Myspace, because I immediately think it's a bit of antisocial behavior, but I aint no fancy internet dude....just an old guy. I am all for just keeping it personal between the people I know, and not with the people I don't. But once again I'm an antisocial retard, so this opinion is prolly best filed away.

Myspace just strikes me as the newest kind of Instant Messanging. It might detract a little from actual social development, but there are some charms in socializing online. For those limited to a particular environment of people in highschool, they can meet people they otherwise wouldnt and discuss things they might never touch upon elsewhere.

Like anything in life, except sex, balance is key.
