Well I was so proud of myself I made my hotelreservations the first of the year for D-Con and paid for it inadvance..I purchased my Planetickets (luckily with a cancelation clause ) I purchased 3 new outfits and a new cowboy hat..allI had to do was ordermy tickets and I was good to go..But now with My Mom needing someone with her constantly it is not possible for me.. This was the one thing that I swore nothing could stop me from attending this year SIGHS well Life sucks and fate has a way of kicking our asses big time... I guess the only good thing is with the refunds from D-Con I should be able to fix or buy a new computer...I am so so very Down because of this it makes me mean and nasty like a little kid that don't get thier way... and that worries me I should be able to accept it but for some reason it almost makes me resent careing for my mom...I fell bad about that but I cant help it I guess its normal but never in my life have I looked so forward to anything as I have D-Con.. So to everyone that is able to still go Enjoy it to the fullest and Ill be there in spirit...

Nah, it's not bad for resenting being given that task. You had your hopes up to go and they were taken away, but its noteworthy that you've chosen to, or know you need to take care of her rather than disregard it and go. Your a great person to do that.

*Hugs* There will be another D_Con, I assume it being Annual, and you'll likely be able to go Jugsmalone. More people here will probably be able to go next year, so it'll mean more great folks to hang with when you do go. I hope things brighten up for you.

Yes, there will likely be another opportunity. You're doing what's right, Jugs. We'll miss ya not being there, but look forward to the next time. *hugs*
