SETI @ Home Finished, Bob Dole invents ETs instead

Poor SETI.

I used to use SETI all the time.

Whew, just read the whole thing, the @home project isn't dying, just moving to a different owner who will still use it for the same thing.

But is SETI itself in trouble? That would suck, they're some cool peeps. If not a bit disillusioned.

oh snap, thats a name from the past, don't think i've seen that since highschool. our science teacher made all of our pc's in the lab use that thing.

Well, SETI's been moving away form the 'everyone's comp thing' since they got that field of dishes a few years back. Don't know if they still have them, but from the article it seems like we'll have the choice to pick what our comp's working on.

I'm using my computer to try and find proof of Jodie Foster.
