Finally managed to beat it for the first time. I did it with Parasite and starting in the US. I sold my starter symptoms, did the first tier of all resistance types and then spread by insect and rodent. After that I concentrated on resistance types only until I was at tier 3 on all. I didn't start to buy symptoms until the disease was spread to all regions. At one point I checked and the time to complete vaccine was "infinity" so then I just kept making it more and more lethal until everyone was dead. It was quite satisfying.

It was probably me... I was pretty violently ill last week, and work with Bostonians who travel back and forth quite a bit. I'll claim responsibility.

From what I understand, the flu has been really really severe this year thus far. I am still not getting a flu shot, though. Never do. Just have to be quick to get the symptoms managed if the worst does happen.

I don't get the flu shot ...

Mostly because the last two times I did, I got violently ill for a few weeks both times.

I'll take one day of throwing up versus 2 weeks of inability to keep anything down.

The company I work for gave us all the opportunity of a flu shot - which I took (as it would have cost me money to get it done any other way and I wouldn't have done it). Haven't had the flu yet, but a week after the flu shot I picked up a bastard of a cold, whcih I still have.
