Just a word to the wise .. don't log out in random places, you never know what will be there when you log back in

Walking in on Cyboring.

Postby Fishi3 » Wed Nov 15, 2006 8:10 pm

I played on several World of Darkness mushes some years ago. I like Mushes because they are immersive. You talk from the characters point of view all the time.

There are two times when cybering became an issue for me.

I walked into a room just in time for the Lasombra to anally penetrate a Werewolf using that tenticle thing they have... I logged out and didn't log back in for a week it was that kind of disturbing.

The second time was during a Moot. The Pack Alpha was being very very slow about doing the rite that night. As it turns out his attention wasn't on us at all. He dropped a 2 page mav pose on the Moot of himself having relations. WoD has alot of soul damaging potential if you are fully immersed in your character. This was definately one of those times. Then to make it worse the Alpha dropped another page on us that was worse than the first. If he'd put that much effort into the rite it would of been a great night of roleplay rather than a bitter memory. Oh well.

Mav by the way was a player on the original Tinymush who was infamous for Miss tells of a highly embarrassing nature. So much so that many old time Mush users started to call a Miss Tell a Mav.
Just a lil Fishi3... Glub, Glub.

Heheh. Hmmm. I remember playing a Discworld MUD. Fun; a little odd, but I found it unfortunately lacking in the sense of tact and humor that Pratchett shows so well...
And I think I am goind to stay very, very far away from Lost Angels in SL for a while...in the...half an hour I was there I witnessed a man screaming about a horrbile growth on his back, someone trying to sell their soul for $60, a roleplay NAMBLA couple, a big white angel played by a big gay fairy, and a kitty peeing into a bottle.

(The last one was my fault. I don't think I should ever say anything in RP again...:P)

But, in saying that, there are some beautiful places and settings to visit...and I am sure that one day I will find a group of RPers who are either not Otherkins/Otakins/Vampires/looking to put something unpleasant in an uncomfortable orifice...

I was hoping that AO would have such a scene. :(
