*Looking about*
Did I miss something?
Perhaps planet sized,
blueish orb-like,
atmosphere having object?

Cause I sure as hell don't see the earth that's isn't like never before. No sir! :-) Only the earth that always has been! And let me tell you! I'm bored of that one. ;)

Maybe we should tie-dye the oceans?

Possibly, but the whole zoom in to your street level thing rocks! I found where I was in Australia, my home, and my aunts home in England... Funny lil' toy!

I was heavy into the beta for this when Google had the project labelled "Keyhole World Viewer".

Bummer part about the whole thing now is that with Keyhole I could see my whole city and all the surrounding cities right down to the house. In this "released" version, it's still an uncharted blur in most of the mid-michigan area, like they lost the rights to some of the imagery or just didn't bother implementing stuff.

make sure to uncheck the 'terrain' layer. in the recent updates of the image material the calculations are heavily off with that layer enabled.

and since 1-3 month they got an update around my area, I can finally see my street/house. not yet the open car doors like in other areas though.

AH, I see you've added the link now. ;)

Yes, Google Earth, stalkerific, but utility that whoops ass on map quest and all those things. When I got my computer working again, what was the first thing I did online? I DL'd google earth. ^_^ I didn't need anything for a good long time. :P
