What is a line wrangler you might ask? Well I'm not sure what the official term is, but its what I'm calling them. These are the people who stand at the front of a really, really, really, terribly, horrifically, long line at your favorite retail store and keep the line moving. "Register 2 is available ma'am", "Sir, right this way please", "Ma'am, all the way at the end", etc. I, being a procrastinator, waited until today to do the bulk of my Christmas shopping. However, despite the long lines in a few stores, the ones which had line wranglers, got me through the line and out the door in record time. In one store, I would give a conservative estimate at between 50 and 75 people in front of me, but I was through the line in about 5 minutes. In another store, without a wrangler, I was probably 15th in line and had to wait probably 10 minutes before the wrangler started her magic and then it was about another 2 minutes from there.
*huggles all line wranglers and calm cashiers.* Without them, my last minute shopping trip would've been a nightmare.
