Once I find out how much it costs and how to get an account, I am going to join that game and find out if it's any fun.

If you think I am joking you are wrong. I will try any online game should I feel that the cost to enertainment ratio is good enough.

The way I see it is that Hello Kitty looks to have a fun factor of perhaps 4 and only for the reason is that it looks to have addictive things in it, as well as pets. From the looks of it so far it might be free still looking... and I think I found that it is indeed free.

Now if I do the math of 4 over 0 I find that I get a number that is infinately high. In other words as long as the fun rating is over 0 then I can find reason one would play it.

Will it likely take me away from AO? I don't think so, as AO's fun rating is currently oh I don't know lets say 8 right now for me. What this means is that while I do think AO will be more fun than HC that on days that I'm bored of AO that I'll likely put some other game up to play. So as I find AO's fun rating going down, I'll find myself playing games that might otherwize be called stupid just because their fun to cost ratio happens to be higher than AO at the time.

Now of course the fun to cost ratio isn't the only factor. While Hello Kitty has an infinately high ratio due to it being free, it can get knocked back down to normal numbers by the fact that I get bored with boring things quickly. Even if Hello Kitty has 15 billion adictive fun things, I'll likely just get bored with it (Just like I got bored with Kingdom of Loathing)

This would almost be enough to get me to play right here:

50+ Basic Body and Face
150+ Hair Style
500+ Close and Outfit
150+ Accessaries
150+ shoes

Except for the typos. I know. I know. AO is full of typos. I make more than my share, as well. We all do. But even the AO typos are mostly burried in item descriptions where most people aren't going to notice them. I found these one click off of the home page. This bothers me. It shouldn't. It's Hello Kitty for goodness sakes. But it bothers me that they can't even take the time to spell check. When little details like that get through, it makes me wonder what else they messed up.

Still... assuming that "close" is actually "clothes"... I'm still tempted. :)

You know it's games like this and the Disney online game that make me feel happy about MMO's and the fact that there are fun simple games that children can play online.

But it's the sneaking suspicious that Mattel has Barbie Online in the works that almost makes me afraid that something worse will happen.

But see you're doing the math wrong. Gotta multiply!

So, Hello Kitty World attraction - 0
Fun Potential - 4

4 x 0 = 0

BuhBye Hello Kitty World!

Attraction to the game is all worked into the Fun Factor.

If you are one that won't find Hello Kitty fun, then of course the fun factor will be low.

If you are like me though and don't care either way about Hello Kitty, it's just anouther online game that may or may not have something to offer. All I have to go off of for the fun factor is the advertising they put out about it and for me to look at what they offer and ask myself how fun would that be for me. Without knowing more about the game I'm giving it a 4. (Though it might drop quickly once I try it and find out exactly how annoying Hello Kitty is)

How many ways do I have to explain to people that my mind words on a different wave length than most other people.

Just because you hate "Hello Kitty" this does not mean that "Hello Kitty" is a spawn of the devil. Though the fact that it is a cat is a fair indication that it is, it's not proof alone. And not only that, but even on the off chance that "Hello Kitty" is a spawn of the devil just means I want to try the game even more so. If I can find a dirrect relitive of Satan himself, that just puts me one step closer to finding the knowledge I need to make a truely tarifing army of monsters.

On anouther note I would like to point out that just by moving one letter in the name you now have "O' hell kitty". You tell me if that is a coninsidance or not.

Anyways, I'll give everything as fair of a shot as I can. You've all heard the phrase don't judge a book by it's cover? Well I work on the idea of don't judge a book by what other people say is in it.
