I'm stuck and unable to logon. Well not completely unable. I mean I could if I wanted to. But family comes first... don't they? Sometimes I'm not so sure. Like now for example. This is going to be a huge party tonight and what will I be doing? My mom just asked me if I could go get popcorn and some beers for a Christmas movie marathon. First off, beer and popcorn do not go together. Second, its not even Thanksgiving yet!! While I'm a big sap for a good Christmas movie, I see no reason why we can't wait until closer to Christmas. Third, its going to take more than "some" beers (which to her = a 6 pack between the 3 of us - including my dad) to get through this and I needed to start about an hour ago.
Someone shoot me..... now... please?
So why don't I just tell her to kiss my ass? Well I could and I would except that I still have to live here. Its far easier and less painful for everyone involved if I just give in to this one small thing tonight. ...well.. actually.... I have a whole weekend of similar joy awaiting me. But trust me, if you knew my mother you would understand. I'm better off placating her. Who knows, maybe some of the Christmas joy will rub off on me!!
