Booyah! Been waiting for this movie for a long time! I loved numb one... Was so lame, so pointless, and if you've played the game, you knew the entire plot off hand... But erh... Damn, the atmosphere... I've watched it I don't know how many times now... And I never get tired of it!

There are only 3 things in this world that scare the you know what out of me. . .

Spiders. ..
Enclosed Spaces. . . .
and ZOMBIES!

I am scared to death of Zombies I don't know why but they do. They always have. Now, I consider myself a gamer, although I, guided by my own fear, tend to stay away from games that contain said fear. So I knew nothing of Resident Evil 1 until I went to see the movie. Why did I go see it? Because Milla Jovovich is the hotest woman on the face of this planet and I would go anywhere, do anything, say anything, or kill anyone if she asked me to. . . .
other than the fact I was paralized with fear during the movie, I kept my eyes wide open throught the entire thing so I didn't miss one shot of Milla Jovovich on the screen. (Although I had nightmares for 2 months afterward)
I'll probably have to go see #2 for the same reason as I saw #1. . . .although at least I can prepare myself for it this time instead of my friends telling me as the lights went down in the theater "Oh, by the way, this is a zombie movie!"

Heh, funny... I have the same odd fixation with Colin Farrel and Johnny Depp... I'd seriously go gay for that.. But that aside, aye! Mila is hot as hell. Although one sad bit about RE II is, that Michelle Rodriguess died in numb one, so she can't be in numb two... =(

She has this "hit on me and I'll rip your ****'s off and showe 'em up your ***!" kinda look goin for her... So of course I have a strange urge to do just that... Dunno... Like 'em fiesty ^^

But yay for RE II!!! I have been looking forwards to this one for a LONG time!

[Sorry for any typo's in a mish while typing this and Doc is close to dying... no time to double check...]

HAHAHAHA.

I used to have a female friend who would get all freaked about the games she would play. The VIDEO GAME would scare her. ROFL Go figure. But she kept playing them anyway.

This movie looks kickass, they filmed in Toronto and I've been talking to people who saw the sets, seems REAL sweet, they converted the toronto city hall into an umbrella corporation headquarters....kinda wierd to see an umbrella corporation helo flying over your head, specially when you didn't know they were filming....

Girls like to get scared ;) At least the ones I've known have liked it, even though they act like they don't.

RE was pretty good for a game flick. RE2 looks like it'll shape up pretty good, so I guess I'll check it out. Thanks for the link to the trailer ;)

Dont know Mu, but go see a movie in a theatre and I guarantee you'll see it. My friends and I saw Anchorman and I, Robot, and the preview was in both of them.

They're including Jill Valentine and the Nemesis in this one. And so, I really hope it doesn't suck, cause that's my favorate RE character and my favorate RE Villian. ^_^; (Wesker pulls up a close 2nd)

Wow I'ma geek. :P

Um. Eigen. the choppers are all CG models. So if you and your friends saw a Umbrella one in RL.
That "wasn't" the filmcrew at all!
Be afraid, be VERY afraid!

j/k :P

What I totaly loved about the first movie, was the music!
Marilyn Manson did most of the music, along with the orchestral score guy who handled those parts ofcoz.
Marilyn Manson love working with sound itself not just music.
(I kinda love doing that too :)

And he did the opening theme of the first movie (I dig that tune as the camera zooms into the lab there. awsome :) and the little melody tune is perfect. I hope they reuse or re-perform that one as it's imo the Resident Evil series theme tune imo :) I'ts the kinda tune that sneaks into your head when alone in your bed at night wit the lights out. And it won't stop until you see monsters around ya. perfect horror tune.

And on the interview with Marilyn Manson in the Making Of Featurette on the dvd he says something that imo put him among the best of the best as far as music and sound goes.
(quoted from memory)

"I like playing around with sound and frequencies, like the frequencies that are to high for us to hear (that only dogs can hear etc) or to low for us to hear (usualy sub/bass (way lower than a normal sub can go) but also so low it can literally make your insides "shake/vibrate". And I tend to do that with my music. So if your intestines act up and you get sick while watching the movie, that's prolly my fault! *grin*"

See the Making of on DVD esp Marilyn Manson parts. That dude is like THA' dude, dude! lol...

That little tune they play all the time gives me the creeps... I absolutely love it! So much atmosphere in it! ^^

I was drivin across Denmark by train, visitin a mate a while back, and they played a lil' tune over the speakers to state an announcement... It sounded just like it... Then we hit a tunnel... Totally freaked me out ^^

Movie must come... NOW!

Btw. Just saw Shrek 2... GARH! That movie is SO funny! It's a must see! It's better than numb one, and number one was hilarious!

Cowtipper does not care whether the movie is good or not. Milla Jovovich is in it. Cowtipper will watch and drool like the fanboy he is.

Gridfan, they had two hewie (sp?) choppers running with umbrella logos during the first days of shooting, not sure about any spoilers here but yea, one for sure involving the two was with a motorcade scene and the other uses a chopper parked on top of the toronto city hall. I can't remember the site but someone has some EXCELLENT behind the scenes footage of the sets for the opening seen, you can search it in yahoo. it looks AWESOME one of the 'destroyed street sets'. :D
