Music Editors?

Postby Sergeiovich » Fri Apr 02, 2004 1:01 am

This is a short question for the musically inclined in here..

Whats the best sound editing program for someone who knows a good amount about music.. but doesnt have a clue on how to mix?

I have a whole bunch of new CDs, and I want to mix them a bit myself, as the CD is mixed together, and I want to separate some of the tracks. (ie: take the last 30 seconds off track 6, and add it to track 7, etc)

Anyone able to help a bit guiding the music-mixing n00b?
Yes, I have issues. And I am proud of every single one of them.

Well there's quite a few, and some do cost a whole hell of a lot. Personally I like Cool Edit 2.0 and Trakkator DJ Studio for mixing. It's the best that you'll go without actually having to buy a CD deck.
