What kind of backwards community do you live in? If I acted like Epicine for a split second, Id get my ass kicked. And this goes for Grosse Pointe (my old town) too. Ever consider just chillin'?
Why must everyone on this planet take life so seriously? If poeple say som'n that sounds a lil' odd, or if they suddenly say som'n that makes you consider that they don't like you, even though they seemed to a min ago... Odds are, they're takin a piss, and havin a laugh!

I'm not bringin it up here, for any reason in particular, as it's the same here as everywhere else. Peeps are just too serious!
Why is is so important to be "mature", "grown up" and "serious" all the time... When "loose", "chillin'" and "mellow" do the trick so much better?
I know I have a habbit of over doin it at times, and maybe I'm a lil' too relaxed towards it all... But lately I've just noticed more and more, not only here, but everywhere I go, that people seem to forget that other people might just be having a laugh.
Even if they're serious, does it matter? Do we, as people, have to take it all that seriously anyway? Wouldn't life be easier if we didn't? Then why must we persist to always think the worst of every situation, and only see things as misguided comments, and personal attacks. When they might as well be humoures contributes to a current situation, or a little well ment remark to lighten the mood?

This was not ment as spam, but just a generel "Wake up" call to everyone who reads it... Lighten up, and take it easy... Life is easier if you do!

I breeze thru school, make some friends while Im at it, and shoot them with airsoft guns. Dont take it too seriously (and I KNOW thats a bad thing, but I havent gotten below a 3.5 in 4 years) and enjoy what I have out of my obligations. Gaming. Its an escape. I'm 31 (almost) years old and have been to every continent on this planet, and ya I live in the USA, and don't agree with a lot of the crap that goes on here. I started my "advanced education" as you smelly Brits my call it at 20 and went through 3/4 of the schools that you guys might even call elite (or not able to get into, in other terms). I've been through my angst years, and you are goin through em now.

Oddysee, quit pickin on "Yanks", I knows its popular, because we are just a bunch of George W. Bush lovers over here. But Tacz is 13 (I think) and so is dfclock (I think) and you are pretty much just lookin like a bully. No wait...You are lookin like another whining Brit that uses "sarcasm" as an exuse to be an ASSHOLE. Get over it, the world is not your world, nor is it mine. You can "lighten up" whenever you and your freaky haired brother decides to get a life. I've given Tacz grief before, but at least he writes stuff that isn't angst filled, just honest views. Uhm, lemme just set one thing straight... I don't hate yanks, I just make fun of 'em, but apparently the diff' isn't all that noticeble...
When we (your typical angst filled sarcastic arsehole brit, who watches way too much BBC) make fun of things, we're not making fun of IT, but just using it as something to put a joke on.
If I crack a joke at, say Tacz, as it was right here, it's not an attack against him, but simply a response to the possibility of crackin the joke. I'd do one of the pope, if the possibility presented itself, just as I expect people to crack one at me if I do som'n allowing them too.

Also, you seemed to completely miss the point of what I wrote, and seeing as you've proven to be bright enough, you've most likely chosen not too see it and instead get that lil' "load off". Although I fail to see why, I guess maybe I didn't catch the point in yours.

I wasn't shouting at Tacz, I wasn't blaming yanks, heck! I wasn't even pointing that post at anyone. I was simply stating, that too many people tend to focus on the bad aspects of what people write, and forget to think that it might not be all that serious.
But as proven, there is always someone unable to do that, and as usual, I get in trouble for saying it... What else is new!

Now I hope I enterprited it right when readin your reply, in thinkin there is a touch of humour involved in that whole thing as it'd be a shame if you ment personal attacks is a usefull way of replying to anything...
But for the record... Keep my brother out of this! People can diss me all they like, I usually find it amusing, but I get personal too if it goes beyond that, keep him out of it, as he had nothing to do with any of this!

I see that, indeed, as the holidays make their way inevitably towards Christmas, we are being slowly infected with the modern version of the XMas spirit. Stress levels going up, tempers fraying and all that lovely stuff.

Why don't we all take a deep breath, step back and join Tarryk in a nice cold glass o moo-juice and remember we're all friends here. There can be no nationalism on the board.
