Is SWG really THAT bad?

There are many things that needs to be fixed before I try SWG:
1. You can't play an ewok
2. I can't play as the emperor/emporer, so all that's left is to join the wickedly evil side from the start - and I do not wish to join the rebels, I want to fight for justice, icecream and the imperial way
