Okay may be me and I didn't know that the AO sounds were attached only to AO, I thought that they were genericly made.

I dunno I'll try a few different ears to it again and see. Maybe I'm just completely wrong.

I listened to it.. and I'm w/ T on this one..

That's the sound from AO.. not sure if its char creation.. sounded like a grid term entrance sound.. but its for sure an AO sound.

I'm all too familiar with the sound. It's the sound you heard in the ORIGINAL character creation system (not the one they have now) when you're using the machine that changes the look of your face and head.

Listen to Epicine, Episode 1. It's sped up, but you'll hear the sound many times when he's going through the heads. "no..*sound*..no..*sound*...no.."

That's part of the reason why I recognized it. In mixing that episode and when going through the AO sounds folders for effects, I ran into that sound way too often.

And I'm sorry for saying I was irritated. I was, but I didn't need to bring it up. I was having a nicotine withdrawal and in an otherwise FOUL mood (I'm working 15 hour shifts every day this week and have no time at all for AO, and hardly any for GSP), and I felt it would be a good idea not to get into an arguement over something so trivial.

Yeah, now that I think of it, it really was the old face-change sound, each time you changed the face.

A) Okay that's the reason why I didn't recognize it, I'm only what... 6 months old :-D

So I was listening to a different sound.

B) Dude, sorry about all of the shyt work, I know it happens.

C) Hey, we all get irritated at times, and yes it's trivial, but yaknow... it happens man so we move on.

But I agree with Tarryk... that definately IS the sound... Tho so is that screaming thing from starcraft you hear ALL THE TIME, so I dunno... I thought it was just a generic one n' all... oh well...
