I would love to see two sides duke it out in a dancefest. :mrgreen: Neutral judges, natch. ^_^

Yeah, but the *real* Capoeira doesn't include cheap infinites. *mutters something obscene about Eddy Gordo*

I knew a guy online who took classes in that, and he says it's very dance-oriented. Apparently the entire class would dance all at the same time, following the music(and probably the instructor too). The more I try to get a mental picture of that, the funnier it seems when the one guy in my head just breaks into The Robot...

Uhm... :shock: The DB is Clan? News to us.. They're slaughtered our leaders and members just as swiftly as they have the Neuts and Omni...

O.o I was led to believe DB was clan by previous statements that have been made, but.. Okay. They're.. on their side, and that settles that. Then again, like I said before, the clans are MANY factions under the banner of one faction (or... title, rather?), so just because one clan has its ideals and morals doesn't mean another clan will accept and embrace those ideals and morals... The diversity could be one of the clans' strongest points, it could also be their fatal flaw since they seem to lack the desire and will to put aside those differences and unite, even when they did have a leader who was trying to work things out with Omni. Granted, I wouldn't be too willing to just put all of DB's incidents aside either (or any group of lunatics who behave in that fashion, regardless of their faction)... But just think what could be accomplished if some of the clans would stop fighting with one another and for at least a while, set the differences aside long enough to deal with Omni? Though... I suppose they would first have to decide just how they intend to deal with Omni... That's the biggest problem. O.o

And, agreed. Eddie drove me nuts in Tekken as well. I read about the style elsewhere, though. Had been interested in learning, but never got around to it after the kenpo incident (not going into that...), so I have sense given up any pursuit of martial arts (in real life, anyway).

But about the real idea at hand here -- Who would be interested in organizing some kind of dance contest? *grin*

I wouldnt mind, take 1 guy/gal/atrox from each major guild from each side, and dance dance Anarchy! Well the lag would be horrible, and omni-pol would come and attack, and the dust Brigade would too, well we can still dance i guess.

Well... Omni-pol might come and yell at us, then try to lock everyone up in an acme port-a-jail... We could get Epicine to take care of DB. ;)

Just hold the dance contest in neutral territory. ^_^ You'd need to for easy access for either faction. Or just get some engineers in there. ^_^;

Sure according to Omni-tek, Omni-pols juristiction is planet wide, but I bet they'd be less inclined to crash a party if back-up was several minutes (wompa, run/flight for 10 to 20 minutes) away. ^_^

And to my understanding, DB's bio readouts say they're Clan, but they kill everyone despire that. ^_^

I think Reets is a perfect place for a dance contest/party. ;)

And yeah, I know I had read somewhere that DB was or is CLAIMING to be clan. But it's like I'd noted before -- not all clans will agree with one another on morals and ideals, DB doesn't seem to agree with having ANY morals whatsoever, so they likely feel the other clans are "in the wrong" and therefore they think they have an excuse to kill them... As for killing neutrals and omni, well... there are other clans that do that too. Though we don't have to worry about DB, we'll hopefully have Epicine to fend them off. *pause* now if only we could get Epicine to deal with Omni-pol too.

And I'd like to see Omni (or anyone else, for that matter) try to tell the clanners that Omni-pol has planet-wide jurisdiction. :lol: I think Omni-pol only annoys party-goers when it's neutrals and clanners partying with omni-alligned people in places like Rompas... But I'm not certain on that. I know I've never run into them in Reets any time I've been there. The only other clubs I've spent any time in were... Rompas and... I forget the other Omni club. I've briefly wandered into The Cup too. Nothing ever seems to go on there, but it's really a nice little place.

Edit: The typo-demon once again proves that he, unlike many people, loves me unconditionally. ...One of these days I'll stuff the little bugger in a blender and turn it on high. *sigh* Just can't ever get rid of him.

Dust Brigade Guy: "The Omnis are guilty of not grooving properly. The Clans are guilty of not having enough style and rhythm. The neutrals are guilty of being indecisive in their dance steps. Watch how a pro does it."
