Congratulations

I have never seen nor heard of such an undertaking on any MMORPG platform like GridStream Productions.

I started out, like some of the world, on Everquest, as a Phase 3 Beta Tester. I played Everquest for nearly three years before giving it up due to time constraints and general disinterest. I left Norrath with a level 50 Human Monk and a level 50 Erudite Necromancer, both of whom I had roleplayed for so long that I felt as though I were losing a close friend.

I never heard nor saw anything that even tried to emulate GSP.

I then moved to Asheron's Call, where I revived an old AD&D character of mine, named Cayr. He had made it to deityhood and so I claimed that he was a planes-traveller who had heard the Call. More or less, I made this Custom Class character to be a Monk Mage who could use Archery. Roleplaying this character was, as always, a fun task, and so when I left after a year of gaming, I was disappointed with my time on AC because it had mainly been solo.

Never once was I told or shown a medium such as GSP.

Now, here I am, into my eight day of Anarchy Online, and a good friend of mine on RK1 (Lilita, if you know her) told me about GSP on the first day. She said that this "Gridstream Productions" thing held events and such, some at a place called Reet's Retreat.

So hey, I went. I had liked the music, why not go see?

The rest is history. I met Tarryk, then Riakoo, and I've loved life in AO ever since. I never mission without the stream on, and I always do more criticals with it on, regardless of which character I'm on.

So, thank you, GSP, and congratulations on a concept that is so excellent that you deserve some sort of award named for a guy who has been dead for centuries... how about the Napoleon Award of "Not-Idiots"?

h00t h00t!!! Thank you muchly, Kaiur! You've been a great requester-of-songs for my show, and you're definitely the type of people we like to see at the GSP events. I certainly hope you stick around for a long time to come.

Thanks for listening!

...it'd take an armada of Reets, Leets, and Beets to keep me from listening or showing up!

Heh heh, mission accomplished. ;) Tarryk and Riakoo rock. Definitely two crowd pleasers and favorites of mine, but you've got to catch the stream when Gridfan's on sometime, the accent is just.. Gah, I love the accent. And the music. And... Yeah, anyway, I told you. GSP rocks just as much as leets do... And everyone knows how important and lovable leets are. Just ask Wyldthing. :)

Another happy convert. I guess Vil can be pleased he started all this (getting a few friends into the game with GSP and leets as the main taunt of "See what you're missing!" and those friends got more friends).

Well, you could make one alt on RK1 just to come to the parties when you want to. ^_^ You don't have to come to EVERY party (I'm sure GSP would like you to, though) but you could log the RK1 alt on when you know there's going to be a party you really want to go to. Maybe play the alt long enough (whenever you're bored with other characters?) to get them some nice party clothes and toys. ^_^ Just a thought.
