From the front page news, thought it should be open for discussion

LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL? IT'S FLASHING RED.
Thu 21 November, 2002 | 21:30 (09:30PM)

Hey everyone. Don't think of this as a warning. That flashing red light at the end of the "Tunnel of Work" that GSP endures might not be such a bad light after all. We have yet to see. Fact is, we're gonna tough it out the whole way.

Things happen, people come and go, some gain interest, some lose it, some continue on in a respective endurance and longing for what is yet to come.

Here at GridStream Productions, we're trying like crazy to keep things on a constant roll. We want to add new content all the time, and keep the interest level of the listener peaked. Yet even with all of us giving every ounce of our spare time to GSP, the dream of "constant content" is one that will always be a roller coaster. Sometimes we will deliver, and do it well, for weeks on end. Sometimes we will fade a bit, and wane in our endurance, as we try to catch our breath.

One thing is for sure, though, and that is the fact that we will be around for as long as the internet will allow us to be. We will always strive for new content, new shows, and new shameless plugs to keep us and you, the listeners, in the loop of rawkness that is Anarchy Online. Remember that the simple fact that you listen in gives us better statistics, and keeps us in the positive that we have every reason to keep going and striving for perfection.

As I said, however: Things aren't always what we wish they would be. Lately the infamous "Real Life" has been throttling us all by the throat on a constant basis. Keep in mind that GSP is technically a Die-Hard Hobby for everyone involved. We make no money doing this, and we are not sponsored in any way. We're just doing this because we love to.

With that in mind, I should note that times are yet again changing. As it turns out, our webcaster (www.live365.com) is falling in line with all the other webcasters, under the thumb of the RIAA. As of the New Year, anyone who wishes to listen to GridStream Productions will have to be a registered user of Live365.com in order to do so. While registration is free, we are all very afraid that our listener count may drop severely because of this.

That's not enough reason to give up, however, and we're going to struggle through it. But for those that care: Please go to www.live365.com and spend a moment to register yourself with a free account so that you may listen in to the stream (no, you don't have to get any premium pay-account, you just need to be registered in some way, so take the free option). In the meantime, we will be on a constant search-and-rescue mission to make it as easy as possible to tune in.

Thank you, everyone, for all your support of GridStream Productions. I give you my personal garauntee that every considerable measure will be taken to keep our live content as updated and fun as possible.

Why, you ask? Very simple.

Because of you.

P.S. The schedule on the left side of this page was originally intended to be a permanent rotator, but since our schedule usually changes mere days after we think we've got it nailed down, don't rely on it just yet. We'll be introducing a new front-page scheduler system in the near future that will hopefully correct the descrepancies.

In the meantime, check the schedule posted in our forums and on the Anarchy Online Roleplaying Forum for a more accurate outlook each week. :)

Yes, things change, shape, and evolve. Even at good ol' GSP.
Two things will certainly remain the same: The awesome dedication the GSP crew has for providing entertainment for Rubi-Ka, and the enthusiastic fans' love for GSP.
