The old GSP quotes thread...

I've turned the TSW GSP quotes thread into a "GSP" quotes thread as the old one seems to have disappeared. I'm not happy about that at all. I swear that I remember seeing it after the merger too, so I'm boggled as to what happened to it. I'll keep digging to see if I'm overlooking it somewhere, but an initial search didn't turn anything up.

For now, I see no reason that we can't combine our quotes into one sticky going forward.

Again, I'm sorry for the post going poof. It wasn't intended, and I'm trying to figure out how it happened. I like to save anything historical like that, so I wouldn't have signed off on it being blown up. I'd chalk it up to a bug with the forum merger, but I still swear that I saw it after the merger.

Honestly I am sure I saw it as well. Not sure if knowing that helps much, but yeah, it is sad to lose it.

*scratches head* doing searches I can't find it either. only the new/TSW/current one is seen.

I guess you could butter up X, he should have a backup of the old AO forum at around the point of the merger.
He should be able to get that thread back/restored.

EDIT:
HAng on wasn't there more than 1? I think from time to time, when the quotes thread gre really huge the old was "parked" and a new was made? If so it's more than one that is missing.

Not that I recall. As far as I recall there was only the one I started. And that one's gone. I checked through all of Legitimate's posts yesterday (down to 84, which was the first hint, since I damn near inhabited that thread for the first couple of years) and they're all gone.

Yeah, it was definitely just one thread. It never got so long that we made a new one.

I'll poke X to see if maybe he can resurrect it somehow.

I think Griddy is thinking of the old pic thread on the old boards. There was 3 or 4 iterations of that one.
