Enigma song, why Sad(e)ness?

Tarryk was playing the song Enigma Sad(e)ness : himself and some others ppl was wondering why "sade" and not "sad".

My language is french and I was wondering if that was not a french "playing with words" thing and I was not wrong thinking it was about "Sade" from the "Marquis de Sade" guy.

(harsh) Bdsm and some others things was not tolerated at this time, so that guy was the devil in person for the others. I let you make your own judgment on this. Just read his book if you really want the story, it's not an old $h!t boring book, ideas and acts never become old by the time, especialy about "that"... it's still taboo today *hardly kicks the taboo*.

The stupid thing, and even more cause my language is french, I've not heard that like "Sade dis moi" but "Femme dis moi" (women, tell me) yep still in your own language you can always hear what you want hear and not especialy the real words... I know that sounds strange but it's true.

So that was a little reflexion for me :p but I'm sure I was not the only one cause a lot asked why "sadeness" and not "sadness" hehe ^^

I can't say that I've ever really thought about it all that much. And forgive me my spelling errors that come up next, my french is very rusty.

I've always heard it as "Sade, Dis moi, q'est ce tu a cherche?" which is "sade, tell me, what are you looking for?" if I remember rightly. I suppose, if you understand what is being said, it makes more sense..

I just like it as a good piece of awesome tuneality
