You mean Tarryk? Oh, trust me on this one bubba... I don't care what Tarryk thinks about you or anyone else. Pretty sure that feelings mutual too. Me and him, we aint having any dinners together. Ever.

Im just bored, and you look to get your feather ruffled pretty easy playing social martyr. That makes this fun... well, at least more fun than shampooing the upstairs carpet, which is what Im supposed to be doing.

Either way, the guy that was on the video can sing. Pretty sure he could have nailed the female judge after that performance too.

If you mean the forum, it depends on whether you can get in a disagreement without getting your feelings hurt (or at least be able to recover from it) and instead realize that there are no two people in the world that will agree all of the time. If you mean GSP... GSP is about music. The forum isn't GSP. Just don't want you to stop enjoying the music because of bickering on the forum. There's always some little argument going on here... it's what happens in forums.

And to stay slightly on topic... I strongly dislike Idol. This man can sing. I agree with the sentiment that if this doesn't work out for him (and its enslaving of him to a label), then he can find other connections through it.

Wow, that went down hill fast. :)

I learned a long time ago; An opinion is absolutely worthless with some experiance to back it up. I will try most any foods once to see if I like them. I will listen to any song at least once to see if it's up my ally (reguardless of who does it, or genre). I will go places, do things (baring cirtain death. :) There is a line), and live life! All before I'm willing to dish out my opinion. :)

But when you're young, you rebel. Only time will give you the wisdom to know whats best. :) (I grew up fast.)

Some advice there :)! And yes, it did go down hill fast and in a hurry!! Regardless of what anything thinks of "Pop Culture" it doesn't change the fact that the cell phone salesman is so damn good that he brought tears to my eyes.

A Bit more on topic, Paul Potts has won the grand finals in that show, so he's gonna get to put out an album, perform for the queen, and he got 100k pounds to boot ;D

I'm amazed.

Britain has talent seems to be more open to a variety of acts than American Idol is. There was a guy with a puppet and two kids in the finals. I don't think a Opera Singer would get onto the show let alone win in the US. I'll admit I had pretty much the same reaction as Simon during the audition. Oh yikes what a lousy suit.

Go Paul Go! I wonder if CD exchange would carry his album.

Britain's Got Talent is completely different then American Idol :). American has a show exactly like Britain's Got Talent though, it's called "America's Got Talent" :) Two completely different shows (American Idol and America's Got Talent that is) with different judges. Although Simon Cowel is a producer for America's Got Talent.

See the difference is simple as this: Idol is a singing competition, Talent is a talent show.

No the difference is that talent in the US has generally been relegated to the level of kids with hoola hoops and silly dog tricks. I wasn't aware that there was a seperate America has talent show simply because I don't watch TV. Ever. If I hear about a series that I want to see I buy it on DvD. That way I avoid the mountain of putrid reality shows based on no possible reality and with just enough wit to convince a Hollywood studeo to buy it.

Pitchman. : It'll be cheap as dirt. Have no story so no writers and we'll get 16 idiots to compete and make fools of themselves for less than the cost of one actual actor.

Studeo: We'll buy it.

Ta da American TV. Not that Canadian Broadcasting is much better since their budget was cut to the point where they couldn't produce an episode of the original Dr. Who if they tried.
