I'm a big fan of the Johnny Cash version of hurt. But something about seeing Kermit as a beer swilling addict is just so wrong it's painful. I have to admit though that the images are actually more relevant to the song that in the JC video to the song. It's a song that Trent Reznor got the lyrics right but executed wrong as I can't stand the NiN version. But then thats my opinion.

But mental ramblings aside Some times a Childhood icon should be allowed to remain a icon and not be tarnished by a jaded societies need to corrupt everything into baser forms.

My vote is to ship the author off the planet without a spaceship or space suit.

I actually found it to be quite interesting. I mean while there is that funny dark humor overtone, it has a surprisingly nice portrayal of the lyrics. Besides, you guys should know I prefer the NIN version to Cash's, just because I found Reznor's vocals to hold a lot more meaning when he sang the song, but I have started to warm u to Cash's version.
