Came across this at random the other night while googling for a good pistol for a low level NT - it's an Anarchy Online review back from when the game first launched:

http://www.womengamers.com/revprev/adv/anarchyonline.php

As a relative newbie was fascinating stuff - be intrigued to know if anyone on here was playing from the get-go, and how accurate this review is... I mean, it does rave about Troxes in thongs...

(Also be intrigued to know if anyone can recommend a good pistol for level 20-40 NT... ;) )

I love the old GUI!! :) It took me a long time to switch between the new and the old. It was only till I had *had* to cause there was no option left in the F10 menu haha.
She definitely was tolerable of the game cause back then....wow....it was reallllllly buggy haha.

Its kinda funny because I was one of the beta testers for AO...unfortunately with work ramping up about the time the beta started, I wasn't able to do much beta testing, and when it was launched, I didn't have enough spare time to make it worth the money investment...but yeah, I remember it being buggy as hell but still wholly satisfying...its why I'm back! :D
If you don't have anything intelligent to say, say something anyway. Someone else could probably use the laugh!

i was one of the brave soldiers that beta tested AO as well. and it was very short lived for me. i had dial up, and a very low end computer. the state of the game didnt help much either. so i quickly forgot about it and a few years later i rediscovered AO and i have been hooked ever since
